Over 200 grape varietals are belonging to the Muscat family. Muscat grapes are grown for wine production, raisins and table grapes. Although the varietal is best known for making sweet wines, it can also be used to make crisp dry, sparkling, and fortified dessert wines. Its versatility and hardiness keep it a staple among wine-producing regions worldwide. Muscat varietals used in this Sweet Moscato are Muscat Blanc and Muscat Canelli.
With a soft yellow hue, this Sweet Moscato clings to the glass with delicate legs. The aroma is all about the tropics invoking memories of papaya, mango, and exotic flowers. The flavors are silky with layered notes of pineapple, and sweet nectarines, with a mandarin orange finish.
