There are many reasons why a winemaker may choose to blend different grape varietals together. Sometimes the winemaker is looking for a specific color, bouquet, or flavor that can only be achieved by blending. Other times it is just good fun to blend two or more wines and see what happens. In this blend, Muscat Canelli is blended with just enough vibrant Tannat to give this rosé its classic tint.
This perfect petal pink rosé is the ideal companion to cool you off this summer. The aroma is flirty, coming on strong with notes of candy store, fresh berries, and tropical flowers. Flavors of strawberry, candied peach rings, and ripe melon on the finish round out this
refreshing rosé.
Pair with lemon butter shrimp skewers, parmesan baked yellow squash, spicy jambalaya, miso beef ramen, a pear prosciutto and goat cheese pizza with arugula, classic taco salad with creamy salsa dressing, and strawberry watermelon popsicles.
