Almost plum in color, this Petit Verdot starts with aromas of violet, spice, mulberry, and a touch of vanilla. It is bursting with flavors of sage, cocoa, and espresso with hints of red fruit on the finish. Structured tannins bring out the flavors of black tea leaves balanced with a touch of cranberry.
Pair with sage and prosciutto pinwheels, rigatoni with sausage and vodka sauce, Memphis-style ribs, smoked beef sausage, eggplant parmesan, or bourdon plum and walnut crumble.
