With an intense color so dark it is almost black, this Petit Verdot starts off big and bold. Vibrant aromas of blackberry, mulberry, and black cherry, with notes of vanilla. Flavors of ripe blueberry, red plum, and a hint of boysenberry are on full display. The wine lingers on the palate with notes of cranberry, and soft tannins reminiscent of white tea leaves.
Pair with lamb meatballs, short rig ragu with pappardelle, drunk mushrooms with wild rice, sausage stuffed bell peppers, or dark chocolate berry tart.
