Meritage 2022

With the color of bright red rubies, this Meritage is decadent and bold. It is filled with aromas of cherries, caliche, and black currants.  Layered flavors of currant, white peppercorn, green tea, and notes of dark cherry take their turn on the palate. Wonderfully dry finish of wet slate and tobacco rounds out this inspiring Meritage.

Pair with French Comte cheese, mushrooms and caramelized onion focaccia, pot roast and potatoes, whole roasted cauliflower with garlic and parmesan, braised lamb shanks in red wine, or dark chocolate with coarse sea salt.
