Cinsault 2019 - Block Series
Cinsault is well suited to warmer climates, drier soils, and lots of sun; which sums up "terroir" as it is found in West Texas. A native to Southern France, Cinsault is used to make character-rich roses and nice, flirtatious reds. Usually found in blends, the red wines made from Cinsault are soft, fruity, and aromatic in youth and can be long-lived. McPherson Cellars chose to produce a slightly oaked red with just enough inherent tannin structure to show some strength, but easy drinking and reflective of Cinsault's seductive side.
